Ugh. I just went to check some faves on OD and it's down again. There's actually a site that you can go to that pings open diary and let's you know if it's down.

Anyways! I am excited to say first of all that weight-wise I am down to 177.2lbs as of this morning which means I have lost 25lbs all on my own (25lbs also came off beforehand just from having Miles). Yay!! I'm happy with that especially since I have been slacking a bit with the exercise. I am starting to do it every day again starting tonight.

The boys and I visited my parents from December 19-23 and had an amazing time. We were only supposed to be there until the 22nd but there was this huge ice storm in a lot of Ontario while I was there and the news was saying people shouldn't even leave their houses if possible so there was no way I was going to drive 2 hours in it. I didn't mind at all cuz I love chatting and hanging out with my mom who helps a lot with the kids when I visit. Cody had a blast cuz he loves seeing them and they have this race track with automatic cars that go on it that he could play with all day. Miles enjoyed snuggling with my mom too which is so different from when I visited with just Cody 2 years earlier. I went at Christmas and Cody was only a couple weeks older than Miles was on this visit and he was so clingy that he screamed til his face turned purple when my mom tried to hold him lol. So hopefully that means Miles won't be like that.

While I visited my parents we baked Christmas goodies, set up their tree, they each went for walks with Cody, I helped my mom wrap gifts, etc. I told my mom how Miles was sometimes only having 45 minute naps and when he did it at her place she, like me, could not believe how fast 45 minutes goes by when you're trying to get something done lol. Oh and one awesome thing was that my dad took my van while I was there and he got top of the line snow tires installed on them. That was so wonderful because we couldn't afford them this year.

So...Christmas! As usual we got really spoiled. Cody couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the train set that Santa left him. It was so cute! I got Miles a peppa bonding doll which is supposed to take on my scent when I sleep with it and make him want to snuggle with it. I got some books, socks, a steam mop, calendar, chocolates, tons of gift cards, etc. The best gift was from my husband. He wrapped this box that was about the size if a refrigerator and it was a trick because inside was tickets for us to go see a play in Toronto! It was Aladdin. We went in the 2nd while his mom watched the kids. The show was amazing. I loved every second of it. The costumes were gorgeous, the songs were unbelievable and I just didn't want it to end. I was nervous about leaving Miles but it wasn't so bad. I spent all week pumping 3 bottles for my MIL to give him and the stubborn little bum refused to drink from the bottle. So that sucked. He was ok though until I got home and played and napped like normal even though we were gone 8 hours.

Miles is 5 months now and is 15.5lbs and 25.5 inches. He feels so heavy when he insists on being held a ton so I'm glad he's loving his jolly jumper lately. I'm pretty tired most days lately since he's been waking up for a feeding several times a night but that's life with kids.

Here's some recent pics:
