So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed by Jon Ronson (306 pages) is a non fiction book on those who’ve been publicly shamed over the internet and media. He discusses individual cases - people who’ve posted comments online only to find that that society bit back. This was a thought provoking read, and I did find myself questioning Ronson’s line of reasoning at times (usually about interpretation of some of the stuff posted online). Otherwise, glad I read it.

Marrow by Yan Llanke (103 pages) is the short story of Fourth Wife You. A widow, she struggles with the stigma her four children have to deal with in regards to their illness. One day she finds out there is a cure for them, but only she can be responsible for it’s creation. Interesting, quick read.

I finished both these books in June. So, finished my self imposed challenge early. That’s one new years resolution complete.
