Jewelry for Cremains in The Book of Mourning

So as I’m sure many of you know, they sell necklaces and other jewelry that hold a small amount of your loved ones cremains. I have ordered on for my other daughters and my son plus anyone else in the family that wanted one. I had a long order…over $800 worth of jewelry. I have never dealt with these things before so while the price for some of the small pieces seemed high, I had nothing to base it on so I went with it. I’m obviously starting to come back into myself a bit because for some reason before I submitted my order and payment it dawned on me that I should probably do a little research into this. I can’t even begin to express my love for all things Amazon....I order everything from there and have been a prime member since they started offering it. I found the exact same jewelry and I mean the EXACT same jewelry on there for less than half the price. For example.....two of my daughters wanted small silver hour glasses that can hold some of her cremains. On the site I was originally on they wanted $109 for each one. I found them on Amazon for @ 30 bucks apiece. Exactly the same thing....I called the company and asked....yep, the same exact piece of jewelry just sold through different companies.

Can I just tell you how pissed off it makes me to know that a company is playing on my grief to gouge me for money? To gouge anyone for money! What serious assholes!! As if someone who has just had a death in their family isn’t already stressed out enough. I am so so lucky that I had insurance on Lizzie…I am one of those people who try to prepare for anything so I always carry death benefits on my family. It is so expensive…even with us having her cremated it was very expensive! Plus paying for the celebration of life, plus paying for the jewelry, plus paying for the urn....etc. etc. etc.

Ok, enough ranting for now....I want to thank you all for your kindness. I truly appreciate every word.
