So RIP Muhammad Ali - not much more I can say - since everyone else has been saying it. I just wonder if Henry Cooper had managed to KO him in 1963, before Ali met Sonny Liston it might have been a different story - but then, he didn’t although he put him on the floor.
Too much punishment took its toll on Ali - and just reminds us that boxing may have been given new life by him - but it is a brutal sport - but this picture offers a fantastic view of boxing as art - from above - the KO of Cleveland Williams.
One of the advantages of the outpouring of news about Ali is that the Referendum slug-fest has been pushed down the agenda. Thank goodness. It is a really depressing spectacle. And I suspect will solve nothing in British politics - just make it more unstable.
