Primary School Confidential by Mrs Woog (257 pages, including acknowledgements) was somewhat forgettable. It discusses Woog’s childhood in primary school, her teaching days and then as a parent to primary school children. A light read, and not as interesting as I hoped. I’d picked it up because I was feeling nostalgic - I wanted to see how primary school has changed (or not as the case may be) since I was a child. Date Read: 19 - 21 May 2016

As You Do (Adventures with Evel, Oliver and the Vice President of Botswana) by Richard Hammond (266 pages, including acknowledgements and index) discusses some of Hammond’s adventures. Two of them involve his Top Gear: UK workmates - their televised race to the North Pole (Hammond was on a sledge pulled by huskies, against May and Clarkson in a vehicle) and then their road trip through Botswana. The other adventure deals with his hosting a documentary about Evel Knievel. This was ok - another light read. I may look into reading more from Hammond in the future. Date Read: 20 - 24 May 2016
