Being a creature of habit, Wednesday is usually go to Sam’s for the spaghetti meal. Spaghetti, meatball, salad and garlic bread for 6 bucks. Kinda hard to beat.
About every third Friday I will call in a pizza order at Sam’s.
They are located right beside the local Applebee’s. Applebee’s used to be a regular thing for me during the winter. Order, then go pick up carside. Management at Applebee’s lost me when the employees started acting like they were doing me a favor. The food isn’t that great, but it was convenient. When the employees start acting snotty. Bye bye.
The food at Sam’s isn’t any better, but the staff are off the chart friendly.
Alexis usually answers the phone when I call to place the order. She is a young, gorgeous little tease. I honestly have no idea how old she is, and it doesn’t really matter. Just the dance makes going there worth it all. There is a huge shambling guy named Jason who also works there. When I walk in I get “Hey there, Duke! How are you?” from either Jason or Alexis.
Friday I called in a pizza order and when I went to pick up Alexis greeted me. She did the hands on hips, smile, side look “You!”
That was a little too much Audrey for me and after I left with my pizza I thought “don’t do that to me, little girl. Really.” But it is fun to be reminded you are still alive.
