Saturday morning, I called into work at my old job. My stomach was giving me a bit of fits. I never call in, but I did and we slept in a little. Headed over to Walmart, picked out five really nice shirts. Two were those button down henleys that I love. My Wife picked out five cute tops also for herself. We take them back to layaway. They don’t have layaway anymore. I just looked at her and we ditched the cart, lol. We hit the McDonald’s and had lunch. Thats all we ate that day.
Four o’clock, my Wife walks into the living room from the kitchen and her left ankle pops. I couldn’t believe it, didn’t know what to say. I did anything I could for her. I had her levate it, iced it, had her just rest. She was crying and was saying some things that I knew the pain was making her feel.
We go to bed Saturday nite, wake up Sunday and I called in again, because I finally convinced her to go to the er. It ends up that she damaged a ligament. No fracture. She needs to wear a soft cast for a week to ten days. They gave her crutches to get around with, but we went over to her Mom’s house to get her late Pa’s walker.
She says she feels better now. They have her on Aleve for the pain. Last month, she went in because that same ankle had swelled up. The er mailed us an invoice for $6,000. Four hours worth of work and waiting for that one. Can’t wait to see this bill. Her Medicaid was denied because with my income and being married, together we make too much… Something has to give here. If I put her on with me at work, it’s $300+ out of my cheque. She’ll be working at the same terminal as me in August, we’ll be fine.
She was moaning yesterday morning because of her ankle. I said, baby save those moans for when we have relations....
This guy in a red suv on friday when we were unloading students blew our stop sign on the bus. When that stop sign is out, you are required by law to stop until it goes back in. We saw him just in time and held the students back. He passed on the right, by the doors. He jumped over the curb doing so, flipped us off then yelled and screamed doing so. He must have been surprised when the Police showed up at his door to hand him his ticket. $1,200 and four points on his license which is what that little violation entails..
Cheers,
Cbj
