Found out late last week my son was marching in ANZAC day parade in Wagga Wagga with his Army recruit platoon.
I am by myself for a couple weeks.
So I decided to drive down and see him.
Left here at 3.45am and drove 380 km’s. Got there at 8.15 am. Watched the parade, stayed 2 hours and then drove home. So a nine hour round trip for a 2 hour parade.
He loooked great and we got 5 minutes to chat. He said he couldn’t stop smiling. So proud I almost busted.
Drive back down on Thursday for his passing out parade.

i'm pretty sure he was very pleased and happy with your support of him. blake is always glad when we show up to an event he's in even though he says we don't have to show up. they may be adults but, they need our support always. take care,

Awesome :) What a truly fantastic father you are :)
As loving as my husband is with us, hewouldn't do such a thing. It defies logic, you see.
But love is mostly expressed without logic.
So awesome that your son is enjoying his vocation.
