Aloha…
Lots of rain overnight… but just a drizzle right now…
I drove into town… picked up several DVD’s to watch over this next week… went to the library… then stopped for a burger and fries at my favorite fast food place…
Not many people eating there at the moment… so I chatted up the cute… 20 something girl that waited on me… eventually got my order… and went and found a table…
Sitting there both eating and reading my book… a couple of locals that I know stopped by to say hello… but other than that… pretty quiet…
The girl that waited on me walked past my table… and I mentioned to her just how quiet it was…
And with that she said: “well, I could come and talk with you”…!
Don’t you just love the friendliness of others… living in a small town…!

When that waiter Blaze used to come sit with me he wasn't being friendly it was more of a stalker issue. I was always surprised that the managers never said anything to him about the way he would sit at the table with me uninvited.

I grew up in a small town and by that I mean about 1200 people. There is nothing like a small town.
