The Bug in General

The writing bug has come back. I have so much shit bouncing around in my head.
I had a great day. A couple of meetings with Elmhurst folks, talking about Beanie.

Then up the road to ‘Salem’s lot to check on my parent’s house. Then the back roads - the same roads I used to ride my 10 speed to get to the beach when I was a lifeguard.

Then chores. Phone calls. Washed the car. Waxed.

Two loads of laundry. Redemption.

Redemption sounds sort of religious, but really it means taking cans and bottle back to get 5 cents a can. Milk jugs, water bottles, juice bottles, beer bottles. Maine grabs 5 cents when you buy them. You have to go to a redemption center to get your 5 cents back.

There is a place that used to be a furniture store that is now a redemption place.
There is a little girl in there that steals my heart every time. So young. So perfect.

Kinda flirty. No visible tats, but she does change her hair color weekly. Including the purple tips. She looks awesome as a redhead. She always give me a big smile.

A few weeks ago I was waiting in line and she ducked between me and the person in front of me and dragged her jean clad ass across my jean clad crotch. Then the over the shoulder smile.

So young. So naughty.

If I already had my private ticket back, I’m pretty sure I could get some play with “wanna go flying?”

I took a long (looooong) nap. I had been out of the house for 8 hours. When I finally sat down I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I woke up again at 8pm.

Thus why I am writing at midnight, the witching hour.

This girl. (Not the girl from the redemption center - just a random girl who showed up in my FB news feed)

Those eyes! I could sell my soul to stare into those eyes forever.

Perseverance is not to be underrated. A little talent can’t hurt.
