Finished cleaning J’s room for the new recliner. I started around 6 AM while he was still asleep. I took drawers out of his dresser and then moved it out and into the guest bedroom. Did the same way with the chest of drawers. I am so glad I turned them up side down and slid them on their “tops” from his doorway to the guest room. I used a big towel in his room to slide them and not scratch either of them up on their tops.

Much more moving stuff from his room to the guest room and hall area. Good grief!! And to think we “purged” back in January/February time frame. His bed, a 4 shelf unit, a small bookcase, and the entertainment center. Mopped every square inch of the floors and moved his bed twice before I finalized the place. For now. I do not intend to let him move or me move anything back into his room until the CPAP machine joins his room. I am NOT going to do this moving furniture around again and especially not the major moving I did today!! Dude and family came by about 5:30 and “wow” was the most used word. Both rooms (J’s and the guest room). My body is going “HEY, I’m getting old you crazy woman”.

So I will do some spiffin up in the LR and Kitchen after the boys head to school and work and hopefully I’ll be able to move my leg and arms. They hurt tonight and I noticed that I’m doing some catching my breath in little grunts just sitting here typing. Not a good sign but I did take my meds about an hour ago to include a couple of Aleve.

I washed and dried the new sheets this morning and after I get up in the morning, I will strip the old mattress of everything on it and start the washer. I may wash my bedspread too but not sure yet. I’ll have to do the scratch and sniff test.

It rained this morning and we had some pretty loud cracks of thunder. I watched the baby calf with its mom in the barn lot, play and kick up his heels. When the rain got serious and started coming down in sheets of rain they finally went inside the barn. This evening I watched squirrel hand up side down getting the tastiest leaf buds from the tree he was claiming. As I was watching him, a rustle of noise distracted me from watching the squirrel and I saw at least 3 deer running across the hill. Nature is loving the rain coming in this area. We’ve had a few showers over the last month but we need more very badly. Predictions are that we could get 2” overnight. Sure hope so.

My seedlings survived the frost on Friday night and early Sat morning. That sheet did the job, not to mention I had moved all of them to the bench on the front porch. Whatever, they are frost free. I had very little luck with one kind of tomato seed I planted. Only one section has sprouted and the other 5 I can see no action.

My eyes are getting heavy so will close this and get ready for bed. Tomorrow night I’ll probably go to bed at 7:30 just so I can lay on my new mattress set. I’m sure J will be happy that his recliner will be in his room by the time he gets home from work and thankfully the board meeting scheduled for tomorrow night has been moved to Tuesday night. Woo Hoo!

Take care and God Bless

is he getting the bed back if he's gonna be sleeping in the recliner? how will there be room for it? when will he get his cpap machine? decluttering is such a big job. it seems like it's neverending. hope you are feeling better today. sore muscles are no fun. take care,

My hope is that once the chair arrives and will actually sleep in it, then the bed will be gone. I'm waiting for the call from the Sleep clinic to take J to try out the mask the specialist thinks will work for him. I "think" there the doctor had a couple in mind for him to try to see which was the most comfortable. Until the chair and CPAP machine are in place, I'm not going to take any of the other furniture back into his room. He'll just have to get his clothes out of the guest room. I do have a huge pile of his clean clothes that I must find a place for until this is resolved but a pile he will use from is better than a pile he doesn't.

Sounds like you got a lot accomplished but hope those sore muscles are helped with the Aleve.
