This week has been valuable for getting some things done since the normal structure has been affected by bank holidays etc.
So we were able to get the garden sorted - the lawns cut again so that they are ready for the rain which is forecast tomorrow - and bushed cut back - although there is still the danger of night frosts.
The bird feeders have been full for three weeks, but I have not seen any birds around using them - until this morning when two coal tits arrived - so hopefully yhe word will get a round that there are supplies on tap in our garden.
No more news of my old colleague - but concerned now about an old friend on OD and now PB who is very down - I hope things seems brighter soon.
I have had the time to paint some special cards for people who are reaching 80 next month - rather like a milepost with their age on - pointing out that this is not the end but there is still a future - and anyway they are both very active.
It is our last ballroom dancing session of the season - at least with our teacher - so I hope we can remember what we have learnt!! From slow waltz to rumba via the tango!! So doing a thank you card for her too. Busy times!!!!
