Christmas is over? what, already? in an introduction...

Another Christmas has come and gone - firstly, I have no idea how it got here so quickly and secondly, I have no idea how it's already over.

I came home to Italy for the holidays on the 19th and I thought that 10 days living back with my parents (as I always do of course, it's free!) would have been tough but what with being busy seeing family, lunches, dinners, friends etc...I will be leaving in 3 days and just realised how quickly it is actually all going.

I have been so very spoilt - I got more money than anything else which is great as I will be able to buy whatever I want that way. I have seen a Breil ring though in one of the jeweller's here and I will be going to buy it tomorrow. Here it is:

I love Breil :)

Anyway all I have really been doing is eating, going out with friends and relaxing - not a bad life really. I trained twice too but I just had no strength nor I wanted to do it. I teach and train so hard the rest of the year, that I think my body is just telling me to slow the fuck down. Plus, i cannot breath properly through my nose and that never helps.

I am looking forward to going back to the UK though, my house, my things, gym and "normal" eating. I love the food here of course but I am just not used to eating this much anymore - people who keep telling you to eat because "you are even thinner this year" (if I really got thinner every year like people tell me, I would be invisible by now!) is starting to grate on my nerves.

But...it's family and I do love them all to pieces so meh.

I will be travelling the world next year and I cannot wait - I have so many things planned, I am getting really excited!! I have Greece to look forward to in February, then Australia and Tokyo in March/April, then hopefully NYC in June or July and Barcelona as usual in August. The first two are pleasure then rest is for pole training, really cannot complain.

I left my job as a Publishing Administrator to concentrate on my pole school but I will be still translating for them on a freelance basis - I am scared about it and keep thinking whether it is wise but if I do not try, I will just never ever know! Plus, if I feel like I should be finding a part time job, then I will....don't think it will be the end of the world.

The school is my baby, my passion...life is too short for what if's...being crowned the UK pole champion has had its perks :)
