Here’s the deal - when you look on the back of bog standard cat food, at the nutritional information, you will see that their food contains 4% meat.
Yup, 4% for a carnivorous animal.
So I decided to find something more, well, meaty for them.
A few weeks ago we bought better quality dry food which we mixed in with their wet food and last Saturday I added the better quality wet food.
Well, all Sunday those cats were pooping for Britain in the pooping Olympics! And it stunk, I mean turn-your-eyes-inside-out stunk!
But, good on those cats, they made it to the litter tray each and every time!
So, I went to Sainsbury to purchase some more 4% crap, which they’re happily eating mixed in with the expensive stuff…
So, the lesson learned? Don’t shift your cats from expensive food to cheap crap in one fell swoop, I think we’re ready to move on to a higher ratio of decent stuff to crap stuff!
