Last night I had my second appointment with my therapist and we talked for a while about my preferred pronouns and how my husband had accepted the idea of referring to me as "he." Getting the correct pronoun is something most people take for granted but it means a lot to me. He's been very good about it since we talked and hasn't slipped a single time.
I am currently on my period and I hate the fact that I am going through something feminine when I don't want to be feminine.
After my therapy my husband and I decided to go see a movie together. We figured the theaters wouldn't be too busy because everyone was out shopping instead, and we were mostly right. After the movie he mentioned needing to use the restroom and I did too, so I followed him into the mens room. I've used mens rooms before, but this was the first time we went into one together. He went into side by side stalls (he always sits to pee, it's one of my rules for him) and there was definitely something hot about being in a restroom with him.
