Aloha…
We have had an incredible amount of rain here on the southern coast of Oregon the past few days…
And not just rain… but wind… 30-40-50 miles per hour at times… and thunder and lightning that lasts for hours…
I woke up early this morning to the sound of hail hitting the bedroom window… accompanied with more rain and more wind…
I have stayed home all weekend… not wanting to venture out onto the roadways due to all of the trees that have come down… not to mention the rockslides and flooding…
The upside is that there is no snow… in fact the temperatures have been quite pleasant…
The forecast is for more of the same for the next week or so… but the rain should not be as heavy…
Now I know why Oregon is so green…! (smiles)

Went into church under sunny skies. Exited to a tempest complete with 30 mph winds and downpour. I see you have a good reason to sit tight at home. :-)

Yes... not the succulents (they don't need water at this time of year) but everything else is doing just great...! (smiles)

All we were getting was the wind. And more wind. And more wind. Today we got rain. We are not green, but brown.
