In the study of brain function as it relates to functions within the visible world it seems as though we become misguided by our use of vision, sound and smell. Yes, when we see a flower we think of it beauty, react to itโ€™s smell and file the memory for later use.

I wish to visit the senses that result in reactions such as foreboding, deja vu or our attraction/repulsion sensations. We are thinking, electrical, chemical beings. To make the topic worse we owe our very existence to magnetic fields in which we dwell. Savoring the air we breathe, few of us understand without the magnetism of the earth the solar winds would have blown the atmosphere away eons ago.

We are dominated by senses but guided by something all to easy to dismiss yet maybe of the greatest of importance. Much like the sensation that comes from an adrenal rush, the dissonance caused by those who do not mesh with our personal homeostatic radiance defines the need to retreat or at least avoid as much as attract and interact.

Heartache and the sensation of (non-carnal) love are internal sensations that go way beyond visual signals. If this were the case would not only the rose be pollinated and the skunk cabbages be left to die a horrible and lonely death. I do not wish to dismiss the concept of the village idiot. If one is rude , brash, self absorbed even the most beautiful can be avoided. Ultimately we some how come to know who we are most comfortable with.

In the new age of electronic blind interaction we should examine ourselves and how we travel amongst each other. Of the millions of humans sending out our electronic messages how do we get right here. How do we sense the douche from the delight and truthfully do it so well. It is more than words on the page. It is the wavelength on the radio and whether or not you can tune it in and if it is music or static that tears at the minds ear.

It's almost too easy to trick feelings sometimes. Meanings and interpretations get warped in the Matrix.

So am I the ONLY one who had to read this twice? I'm glad I did. I got it and agree.

I have always been fascinated with the bio-chemical and the socio-cultural elements that create the attraction/repulsion. The affects such things as Birth Control and Mass Transit and Computers are having is... fascinating and dizzying. Before we understand something, we seem to jump to something else, eh?

Yes indeed..
