Well, I’ve done it. It’s officially no more going in to college for me. Apart from going back for my exams.
I went and saw my tutor yesterday - if I ham honest; loooking back now my mind was pretty much made up almost three weeks ago at the start of the half term break. It just needed me to take that leap of faith to tell myself that this is best for me.
I am going to get the work sent to me via e-mail, which I will then scan and send back in to be marked/assessed. As it is the final bits of what we need to know as we are close to the end, it’s not so bad like I m going to miss a year or so, maybe 2-3 months at most, and probably at least 1 month of that will be revision and past papers and stuff.
It was hard to make the decision, when I got home yesterday I was “What have I done?” but after going back in today for final day, sating goodbyes and stuff to my tutors, and getting home this afternoon, it felt like a relief. At the very least I am getting back 1 and a half hours each day (45 mins each way on the buses/waiting around), that time will be put to good use napping!!
What I hought was really nice and didn’t have to happen was that my personal tutor had got me a good luck card which she gave to me today before I went home.
So now, I might be doing some maths work at 9:30 in the morning sat up in bed!!
I’m tired tonight, probably because of the emotions of the last few days as well as Jasmine taking up a lot of my energy levels. Going to have an early night I think.

Good for you for doing what is best for you and Jasmine! I know it was a tough decision but it sounds like you already know that you did the right thing.Hugs!
