A key problem in blackpropaganda

We have friends staying in our place in Spain at the moment - they have been there at the same time over the last couple of years - so they know the scene there - but then yesterday evening I had a text - ‘Please read the e mail we have sent’ - so go to the mail - and find they have had a problem with the door key, like it did not open the front door - with help from the lady upstairs, who also had a key they got in around the back - and found it worked from the inside - while replying they phoned wondering what they should do - like call our friend who does things for us - maybe get the lady’s estranged husband who is a joiner to come - I suggested try some lubrication first. Apparently it works if you do not double lock the door.
The good thing so far is that we have not heard from them today!

Solving these types lf problems remotely is always a drag. I remember it happened when I stayed at Cat's place in Munich, beginning of winter, very cold days, and the radiators had all broken down brrrrr! hope everything sorts itself out with the keys!
