My bum in JabberWokie

Good evening from Wisconsin. Just got to daughters about 3.5 hours ago. Little man was not Grandma’s boy tonight but I will have him brainwashed by the end of the day tomorrow. I am on duty for the day and can’t wait.

So why does my bum hurt? Lord right now I am a hurting unit and have been for a few days, first it was the 30 below weather, the fall at work Sunday (most of the problem–I fell on the ice outside) and today a 70 minute swim work out, followed by a 30 minute hot tub and stretch, then the physical therapist ( who I am attracted to). And during the three hour drive I just stiffened up. I miss the days when my body just worked all the time.

Oh so I moved out this morning too, took quite a few trips out to the van as well. Glad to have that done. I still have to figure out my options for when I go back on weekends to work. I have an interview Thursday for a domestic abuse specialist. But the letter I got also mentioned shift varies and that was not on the original ad I saw. hmmm. Not liking that too well.

Work was a bit crazy this weekend. I barely had a chance to eat Saturday and it was slower Sunday but some pipes broke Saturday and we had water messes that were ongoing into Sunday. One of the cooks had the flu and came in to work for two days regardless. WTF and I didn’t know it till Saturday afternoon, piss me off. I would have taken more precautions had I known. At least she took Sunday off and the other cook came in for her. This is a 46 bed facility I hardly think we need the flu coming to it.
