Fog in Talk Story

Aloha…
The marine layer that had been a mile out all day… has rolled on shore… making for a very foggy afternoon/evening…
The forest is so very silent… no bird sounds… nothing…
The mist is quite heavy… giving a gray pale to everything… and the absence of sound is a bit disconcerting…
A good night to stay inside… read a book… and try and keep warm…

Sometimes that kind of weather can chill you to the bone. Well maybe not literally but it can make you cold. Good night to lay on your couch wrapped up in a blanket and read. Do you have a fireplace in your home?

I have baseboard electric heaters... and two very large sofas... and the only way every thing fits in my living room is to put one of the sofas in front of the fireplace... as I can' put them in front of the heaters...

I'd use any and all excuses to sit tight indoors with a fave blanket and hot cup of tea. Lemon optional. :-)

I was going to comment about how beautiful a fog covered forest can be, then read about how silent it was. Fog + quiet is little creepy for sure.
