Of Family Time Spent in Hospital in Dreams 2016

Last night I had a couple of dreams - all about family.

The first starts off involving a teenaged cousin of mine, who in the real world lives over the east coast of Australia with her family. In my dream, two police officers escort her to a cop car - she is handcuffed and is made to walk their dog. Next thing I know, I’m in a hospital. I go to a private room - there is a relative of mine (I think my younger uncle) lying on the bed. I look round the room. The older of my two uncles is in a chair nearby, and when he sees me he starts to have a go at me. I can’t remember what he said but moved away, uncomfortably.
There is an elderly man nearby, who asks me the time. And then the date. So I check my watch and tell him. As I do, I look over at the grandmother of one of my cousins who is lying down near me. She then yells at me “I already know this” and starts on a tirade against me. I point out to her who asked me, and say “it’s called orientation”. I then leave the room.
When I go back to the room (I dream I want to use the private bathroom), only my younger uncle is lying on the bed. Everyone’s sitting round him and they’re all asleep. I see some of them stir as I open the door, so I close the door and leave.

The other dream involves an elderly couple I’m visiting with the cousin of the first dream - the one at the beginning. I notice a small room, barely bigger than a closet, with a chair and footstool. And a small TV. I then notice the man, who’s apparently struggling with addiction. His wife is talking to him, telling him it’s not his fault. From what is being said, a former flame of his was seriously beaten up by her family because she was seeing him and it was very serious. He goes and stands by the front door and looks outside. My cousin asks me if the man is my grandfather - I reply that he is “sort of”. That he is my “grandfather in law”.
