I grew up with the X-files. My Little sister used to watch them in the early 90s, when she was only eleven or twelve years old, so she used to ask me to sit with her, since they scared the crap out of her. After a couple of episodes I became a bigger fan than she was. Of course, that was mostly till season 5. After that, everything becomes distinctly painful to a die-hard fan like myself.

So now the X-files are back. I watched the premiere. It’s not bad. Dynamics are similiar to the old show, but the protagonists are older, more mature… like in real life. Also they didn’t look geriatric enough for it to be really disturbing. Considering it’s been 20 years, it wasn’t so bad.

Think I’ll continue watching. After The Whispers went off the air, I need me some conspiracy theory show.

In other, Daniel-related news, he’s been going to sleep at a decent hour two days in a row. Mind you, he’s NOT sleeping through the night. But at least he’s tuning out at 9 pm instead of 11:30, which is a definite improvement. And goes to sleep right away after his nighttime feeds. So… can’t complain.

He’s snoring next to me right now. I’m gonna miss that kid when I move back to Concepción. He has his own room there. He won’t mind. But I’m not ready!
