my baby is 1 month old today! i can’t believe how quickly this time has gone.

freddie is now 9lbs 12oz and 21 1/2 inches tall! (he was 7lbs 7oz and 19 inches tall at birth). the doctor said we dont really need to supplement with formula, but we really only do when my supply is low or if im not with the baby and i havent pumped. but whatever. he is growing! i looked back on all the pictures from this last month and its amazing how different he is from one month ago. freddie is more alert, is starting to regulate his nap and eating schedule and is working on tummy time to help strengthen his back, neck and core muscles.

as for me, i am feeling about 80% myself again. still some aches, not so many pains anymore. just wanting to get back to working out more and back to a real normal life. im not ready to go back to work, but i am itching to do more. im still getting tired halfway through the day, which is tough, but ill have to get over it soon.

tuesday i went to my schools winter concert. i missed the first concert for my pre-k through 2nd graders :( there was so much traffic and then no parking! it took me 1 1/2 hours to get to the bronx (it usually takes me 45 minutes) and then i was driving around for about a half hour looking for parking. ended up parking right in front of the school (pretty much), but it took forever to find that magnificent spot. the concert was sub-par :( i was really disappointed. there was pretty much no choreography, my 4th and 5th graders only sang one song instead of 2 and my 3rd graders didnt sing their partner songs as partner songs (which i had been working on with them before i went on leave). so…needless to say i wasnt happy.
