Dogs in Safety Net

Just by the way Jazz acts sometimes and the weird things she’s afraid of, we’re pretty sure she was abused by her previous owner. She’s gotten a lot better over the years, but sometimes she just looks at me and she looks so sad it just breaks my heart. I don’t know what it is. It goes way beyond the sad puppy dog eyes most dogs give you when you have food in your hand.

Then there’s Josie. She’s also scared of completely random things and if we didn’t know better would think maybe she was abused as a pup. However we know better. She’s apparently just a complete weirdo (a requirement for any member of my family).

So maybe Jazz just suffers from depression like the rest of us and just has odd phobias…like plastic bags.
