Had a date tonight. It went well, but I think I'm frustrating him with my lack of putting out. Sometimes you're just not interested in putting out, the conversation is better.
My longest standing internet crush is coming to town on business!! We are planning fun and games. I still can't fully believe that this might actually happen, but plans are being made.
My Monster and I saw The Hobbit on Sunday. That was after our failed attempt the night before where we were foiled by a popcorn fire. The fire was serious enough that they closed the whole building, which also houses a Target, Starfucks, and food court. It was certainly better than the first installment, but still not a great movie. I'd call it an OK movie with awesome special effects.
I am sick and tired of pretty girl syndrome thanks to work. Sure, I might get to see them all in various points of undress and doing all sorts of crazy things to themselves, but I still can't stand their behavior. Pretty Girl Syndrome manifests itself as, "I will keep asking the same question until I get the answer I want." No, I don't care what answer you want. This is the answer, it's still the answer, it's not going to change. They go around to every single person in my department and ask the same question, to which I give them all the same answer I gave them 3 times weeks ago. Sometimes I gave them answer months ago. One of them went so far as to finally do the walk-through for her software setup that I told her to do months ago, only when another person in my department told her to. He even copied and pasted my EXACT email and merely changed the signature, and now suddenly it all works and she finally does it. Oh pretty girls, what to do with you...
Otherwise, our product is going well!! Yay for keepin' the porns flowin'.
I'm about to put my first deposit down for Treffin!!! My Monster was quizzing me on my German the other day. I still don't have any numbers, but I at least have most polite language down. So excited about going back to Germany!! I'm betting I'll enjoy it even more than I did the first time, and the first time was already amazing. Squee!
I'm currently watching Top Gear. Not that bastardized version we have here State Side, but the BCC original. Gods, I love this show. It's so snarky.
