Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods (2013) in Movies

I've never paid a lick of attention to anime before perusing this little animated film. Apparently there are twelve universes and this is the seventh (or the one in this film is, anyway), and there are gods and beings with some sort of power equating to a god, and dragonballs that when put together, bring forth a dragon that can grant wishes. There's also beings that can reincarnate themselves in new bodies while retaining their previous identity, which, if you ask me, is the only way I'd want to be reincarnated (just like Doctor Who!)... the film itself is a mixture of sci-fi/fantasy mythology and saturday morning cartoons, which explains why redditors love it so much. Cute, but sugary.
