It's new year eve. in Day by day

I was determined to write an entry today.
Today has been a total wash out. It’s been heavy rain all day, so our plans for a walk were washed away.
We will see the new year in in Prestatyn this evening. Taking Archie with us we will watch the local fireworks from the prom.
