Water, water..... in blackpropaganda

Is it El Nino which is causing all the trouble in Paraguay with floods, Texas etc with tornadoes and New Mexico with snow, and nearer home flooding in Lancashire and Yorkshire?
I feel really sorry for those people suffering with the flooding - nothing you can do - and nothing much anyone else can do - exceptional rain which fills the rivers beyond normal expectation. Still, the government has a duty to look after people - and have their measures been sufficient to cope with the ongoing crises associated with aspects of climate change?
Needless to say we live at the top of a hill!

We eat the last of the ham today in a ham and broccoli bake - last night we had cold ham and chips which was marvellous. We might have to go food shopping soon!!!!
There is still one portion of Black Forest trifle - claimed by SW....

At least there was an opportunity to walk this morning and try to dislodge the catarrh which is still hanging around - I shall have to see the pharmacist to see what he suggests. Lots of discussions this morning as to how people spent Christmas - I must say I was pleased to not have fifteen relations dropping in!

SW… has ost something and so is taking things apart - and moving stuff - and I get involved - why do we have to start this? The New Year of course!!!!

Anyway - try these

I've seen some of the flooding images and it's heartbreaking....
We're at the top of a hill too.. we only have landslides to worry about hahaha. Except we just about always have drought conditions here!

I have a friend in York. Thankfully she wasn't flooded, but has been without power on and off. Mother nature is heartbreaking at times. I'm grateful I live half way up a hill

And how are you doing?

We had some minor and temporary flooding around these parts, but yeah I've seen footage of further north :/ many are taking this beating for a 2nd time in the last couple years which really sucks
