More bad times... in The Sorrowful Life

Things have gotten worse…
Over the past few weeks, Kara has been acting out more and more. She’s skipping class, getting detentions, and even a short suspension.
Then yesterday I got another phone call from the school counselor that I needed to come pick Kara up. Apparently she skipped 2 classes and then had a meltdown and cut the hell out of her arms in school. They had them bandaged, but blood was seeping through. She was also threatening to kill herself, so I took her straight from there to the emergency room.
We were there for almost 6 hours, and they re-bandaged her arms and she talked to a social worker, and it was decided to put her into a behavioral treatment center again…
So now my daughter is in the psych ward for the next week, and her school is at their wit’s end on what to do with her, and I feel so helpless…
