Things are going well. I’d taken a wee break from the cdl manual studying to freshen my brain a bit. I am going to start getting everything started as far as the written portions of the tests next week. I will have everything done by the first week of December. I need to help my Wife with her app for her job as well.
My Pa sent me some pictures of him and my Mom when they were young. That one was when Pa was 24 and Mom was 17, and Mom was pregnant with my oldest Sister. It was taken in 1948. They made such a sweet looking couple, they both looked happy tharen. I realized that I look just like my Pa, I’d not thought that before but after looking at that picture it’s very apparent. There’s one of Mom when she was seventeen and then one when she was much older. My Mom passed away in 2008. I really miss her so. those pictures fill the void that I feel from time to time.
My late Wife passed away in 2010, It has been a really hard journey and I thought that I’d never find love again and I did. I got into the Bible after she passed away, and it led me to Church and being saved and Baptized. It has been a long and bumpy road.
I’ve just been concentrating lately on helping my Wife with getting her last name changed. She’s gotten a new ss card. Today she changed her license. We’re just getting around to relaxing. It’s almost tea time. I need my tea and scones. Tomorrow, after work we’re going over to do the operation Christmas child volunteering. We’re doing the mission volunteering next week.
I’ve gone through the first week of my fitness training. I’m in shape, I just want to tone up a bit. I’ve managed,
Cbj to flatten my tummy quite a bit, now I’m just going for it. I’ve been doing the circuit machines, and supplementing the cardio portion for when I work. My goal is about five miles a day, which I’ve been reaching for the most part. I’m going to do this for eleven more weeks. After that I’m going to start my biking and running portions. I really feel spot on these days. I’m supposed to eat around 2,750 calories a day and I come nowhere near that.
Cheers,
Cbj
