now is the hard part... in here

so i’ve been working on this data visualization project. it’s not part of my specific job, but a side job my director asked if i would take on. i’d get overtime and whatnot for it. i said we’d need a monitor. the response was find one and we will buy it.

not, i am going to ask for the next step.

i already met with one vendor earlier this year and it was pretty interesting, but also very pricey.

next step is to see if my boss will approve me going to a conference in sf for 650. this one is on a friday, so i’d probably try to spend the weekend.

hopefully they could pay for all of it, but if not, i’d be willing to pay for room, board, and travel if i could get the conference paid for.

we shall see…
