Me I’m did purrty good yea shah! Taught I would rite yall a lil Kajun repote dis moanin. Don no if-n yall can red wat I’m putting down bit we’ll see. I rite dis lak it soun. De Kajun he spoke wit a broke accent in Englis. Man you lis-n close. My frand Woodrow Boudreaux use to told me “Get away Close”. I luv dat saying. He was from Creole La. Bout turty mile sout of my Home town of Chloe. Now in Kajun Chloe means Big Pasture. Ma shah dats where I be fo 43 years now. I live smack on de Bayou. Got all kind of tangs dat bite you, hiss you, sting you, stink on you, etc. Lot’s of tangs to eat too. Catfish, alagata, fish and turtle, crawfish and shrimp, crabs, all dat in my back yard. Got me a pirogue boat. One man boat. I am a true Kajun in dat I catch all dat fo me an my family. I set me lines and nets. I go crabbing wit chicken necks. I pull my shrimp troll. I got some turtle trap. Turtle in kajun pronounc ” Ca Wanhn”. Use de short a sound. Dehn we raise a lot of our own stuff in de garten. I put ALL de manure from de barn in compost and den on my garten. Been doin dat for 42 years in one spot. garten is 6 inch above de yard. Bout 20x50 in area. We grow lots of fruit to. Pears, blue beri, fig, banana’s, tomato. Veggies galore. Got 60 cucumbaars off-n 2 plants dis year. Made some gourds. Lots of raised lapahn (rab-it) Shcikan egss and shickans and pork wit some goat to. Calf died in da spring or I wood be eaten some steak rat now. but dis year get anudder. Soon have some geese and duck fo cold day gumbo and pot roast. Some ven-i-sun fo some home made smoke sausage. Lot of musstar green and turnip green and turnip too. Man I don made myself Hongry. Yall have a blessed day now. nuff of dis. Gon fix me some break fast. Sausage, eggs, toast and grits. Lots of butter on dee grits.
