Dinner was NOM. So here is what i did. It will help me remember.
Cut up about 15 large potatos into small pieces. Add enough water to cover and simmer till softened with a stick of REAL butter ( no fake crap here thank you! ) Seasonings of choice. I use Alaska blends made local. But its similar to mrs dash and seasoned salt. Also half an onion diced small. Oh and a few cups of chicken broth. this plus your water should be just enough to cover the taters.
Normally i would put celery too, But i was out, so i added celery salt.
Cook up a diced lb of bacon.
Put potato mix into kitchen aid and mix well. Cut up 2 small potatoes into small chunks and simmer in 2 cups whipping cream. Add potato mix back in. Add in enough whole milk to thin soup. Add in bacon bits and grease and 2 cups broccoli.
Allow to simmer till soften the small potato bits. Shred extra sharp cheddar.
Allow kids to flavor their own cheese.
NOM, Its amazing.
I season to taste, so i cant tell you how much to put in it lol. I add salt and pepper too.
