Still quiet on all the fronts....
School - I finally have my high school transcripts coming to me. After I get those, and $300.00, I can send my transcripts off for “translation”. The thing that needs to be done after this is for my sweetie to file his taxes. He had an appointment but since it’s not tax season they cancelled on him claiming that there was not enough clientele on the schedule that day to open the office. I’m calling BS on that. But if all goes well I’ll be back in classes by Winter term which will be SO nice!!
His ‘friend’ - No calls to or from her since we talked. No texts (that he does not delete) She may be gone but .... that trust is gone for now. I hate that he did that to us.
Doctor Appointments - My sweetie has a few coming up. One is a very overdue appointment with the cardiologist. The other is one for lab work then a routine check up with the GP. I have my own gyno appointment coming up. After hand-delivering my ultrasound results MYSELF I finally had my GP tell me that I have to go to the gyno. He said there is a non-cancerous tumor in the soft tissues and the gyno would know more. My thoughts? How does he even know this without doing a biopsy. Not that I’m asking for the latter. That would be horrible!! I just don’t know how one knows what it is without testing. Last I saw (I figured I’d read the report if I was going to drop it off myself) is that the tumor was 2.5cm big. Rather small all things considered. Large enough to cause all sorts of greif. I swear I have maybe 7 to 9 days a month where I’m not using some sort ot fem product. Sadly they are not consecutive! My other thoughts are I have no idea what they are going to do to resolve this - and how much this will cost me. Everything here is a co-pay of some sort. I still have to meet my 4K per year deductible so whatever she is going to suggest will cost something. Joy. I miss OHIP - greatly
Dental Appointments - I went to the dentist for the first time in 2 years. I took very good care of my teeth in those two years. My required amount of dental work because I am so hard on my teeth is going to be expensive. Like 6K expensive and that IS my co-pay. Right now I have to baby a molor as it’s just about ready to crack in half. Hopefully it will last until the new year when more of my dental will cover that one molar. Dental, although its covered, is rarely covered enough :(
Thing 2 Wedding - She says they will have to put it off for a year. I’m good with this. Her soon to be mother in law has taken her shopping and bought her wedding dress. I’m sad because I could not be there. It bothered me that she bought it for her. It really does bother me that I’m way over here with a limited budget and no travel time so I can go see her. (All vacations at work are not approved until after February, which also means no Thanksgiving or Christmas travel either) Being away from my family sucks very much at times!
Autumn - IT’S HERE!! Pumpkin Season!! Sadly we do not get the great change of weather that goes along with it. It’s still in the upper 80’s F every day. At least it stopped raining every day. Fall also means planting season here. On my days off I will be going to get tomato plants and trying to grow them again this year. Hopefully, they get nice and big and give us great foods! I am thoroughly enjoying the influx of pumpkin everything. Poptarts, Miniwheats, Latees, Coffee - even lip balm!
