Today, I am working on an old story on my old laptop. Reading through and doing some corrections here and there. I have to devote time daily to it to be able to make it publishable. I’ve come across the thought that I can just insert the cd copy of the other stories and go from there on the next laptop that I will get soon. I will do the same thing then as I’m doing now.
Dreams
My Ancestors came over from England on my Mum’s side. I have always wanted to drive a Jaquar like a proper Englishman ha ha. Well, two days ago, I looked up an xj6. It was priced at $6,000. It was a 2003 model which is the last year that they were made in Coventry England, before their merger with Ford motors the very next year. Blue exterior, can’t recall the interior. 95,000 original miles. Just a beautiful car. I thought hmm, let me take a signature loan at my bank and we can get it. It didn’t go theough because of a couple of issues. It didn’t deter me in the least, because I have a quarter of what I need for it saved already. I am going to get that car around February - March of next year.
After the Lord and my Wife, it is my singular focus. Next year in particular, and next month are a big focus for me. Next month is when I’ll be getting my new employment. I’ve paid the old ticket off that I’d had to. I’ll be ever so much closer to having my license reinstated next week. It’s only the matter of renting a car in two weeks to secure the road test.
Next year, two things will happen. One, we will be debt free with our rings being paid off. Two, I will have secued a year’s worth of employment with this new job, and we’ll be moving to California then. I will just have to do that via a transfer.
The only other thing I’d like to accomplish, is to secure a cottage in England as a summer home. That would be ideal.
