What color is your house/apt. do you like it? Hate it? Don’t remember the color?
It was yellow and in a day or two it’ll be light blue. The wife was tired of it and it isprettier than the old yellow.

What is your “special” seat/place in your home?
I have three: dinner table chair. Computer desk chair and black leather watch movies chair. But they are not special enough for me to worry if someone else uses them. I’m more into usable things than special things.

Do you eat at table? Tray? Sinker? On the run? In the car? In bed? At a fast food place?
Always at the table. Always. We consider it a family must-do.

Where is your main computer? The front room? Bedroom? Den? Elsewhere? In the shop?
Right smack in the middle of the living room! Hey! I’m home alone all day and most of the nights. We have almost zero friends that stop by so we do as we please.

How many TV’s, working or not?
Two, showing movies ONLY!

How many computers? Desk top, lap top, pads, abacus?
3 laptops, one desk, one iPad I can’t say abacus because I couldn’t find mine! Maybe there’s an app for my android?

How many ELECTRONIC devises devices total? (I was shocked!)
27! OMG! And I probably missed some! Wow! We’ve all become so dependent on these “things”

How many vehicles, running or not? Include RV’s and Bikes?
1 pickup, I car, 2 bikes

Do you have a front yard? Backyard? Side yards? Garden? Landscape? Death trap?
We have a front, back, 2 side yards and a small driveway strip. Bunches of fruit trees. Asian pear, Bing cherry, Italian prune, Apple and Asian persimmon. The wife loves roses and lilacs and jasmine and mint and Asian basil. So, lots of herbs and fruit. I have large pots to grow potatoes and we do an upside down tomato pot each year.

Your animals are? Inside? Outside? Both? (Do not include significant others.)
4 goldfish..... not big enough to eat yet. Heh heh heh.

Your furniture? Well loved? New sets? Antiques? Orange crates? Tatami mats? Newspaper?
Mix and match. One new couch, one new bed set, one new dining room table. Everything else is old, used and dearly loved. No antiques.

Your dishes? Garage sale or sets? China? GI mess kits? Hub caps?
I’ve used them all! Hubcaps during my beatnik days, mess kits while single in Northern California, and now mixed sets. NEVER any china.

Your frying pans are? Wok? Cast iron? Non stick? Microwave? Old pie tin?
We have a wok, no-stick frying pans but got rid of the cast iron because the wife does not like them. She also has carpel tunnel from cooking at the Thai restaurant so they hurt her wrists to use them.

Do you prefer dim lights? Normal lights? Super brights? Starlight?
I prefer very dim lighting in my house. Raising kids we would have a “Dark Night” and everyone had to live in the dark. We could go anywhere blinded by smoke if need be. It’s good training for an emergency.

Do you prefer overhead lighting? Table and floor lamps? Candles? Torches? Multiple strings of Xmas lights? Miners head lights?
We have both and the miners lights get to be a pain in the butt because they glare in each others eyes!

Your floors. Are? Carpet, wood, linoleum, peanut shells, packed dirt, or sidewalk?
Carpet upstairs, wood floors and lino downstairs, concrete in the basement.

Do you have a fully stocked pantry/freezer? Shop every day? A mouse would starve in my place!?
FOOD! OMG! My wife hoards food! We have an entire room that is a pantry. When we have visitors she says: “Hello, how are you, are you hungry?”

Do you wash dishes by hand or machine? Use paper plates? Wait for mom to visit? We mostly wash dishes by hand..except when the teenager is home. She does not like hot water and I don’t feel that luke warm to cold is a good way to clean dishes! So she uses the diswasher.

Do you recycle absolutely everything? Most? Some? WTF is recycle?
EVERYTHING! Including the toilet paper rolls. We recycle, glass and plastic bags, old electronics and lawn mowers. Everything!

Your door locks are?. Massive and many? Standard? For show only? None?
because of PTSD I am very paranoid. My locks are massive, each window has a bracing bar. And each door has a deadbolt, key-less lock.

Your windows are? Stained glass? Double pane? Plastic sacks? Boarded over? Open at night or closed?
I would love some stained glass. But we have all double pane and they are closed and bolted at night.

To find your bathroom at night you use? All lights? Night lights? Bathroom light? Pitch black? ESP? Bump and curse?
Nightlights in the bathrooms, one in the front room and one in the kitchen.

Do you use a security system? Guard dog? Weapons? Kids toys on floor? Magic wards?
We have a security system and I have a loaded gun in almost every room. An empty gun is called a piss-poor club. I also set protective wards in my house.

Your bathrooms are? Cluttered death trap? Neat as a pin? His and Hers? At work?
My bathroom (It has a urinal) is spotless. The wife and daughters main bathroom is..is....is uh, typical I think?

Do you have a shower only? Tub only? Both? Tin can and rag? ½ gal. Cheap perfume and paint brush?
We have a shower/tub. It sucks. Not a great shower and only a two year old could submerge in the tiny tub! We do have a sauna so that helps. Our next big project will be putting in a decent shower and Japanese soaking tub.

Your view is? Excellent? Pleasant? So-so? Next to landfill? Of ugly naked neighbors?
The neighborhood is lovely! Trees, gardens, etc. We have a corner lot and only one neighbor. The other side and back are churches all neat and tidy. All the houses on my block are close to 100 years old.

Where do you drink your morning coffee/tea or? During the work week? On weekends?
Dining room table with the wife. Curtains open, nice and mellow. Sometimes Starbucks or Tommy’s Restaurant.

Your cooking stove is? Glass top? Electric? Gas? BBQ grill? Hand full of sticks?
It’s glass top. The wife wanted to try one. BUT.. the wok and stirring like mad in various skillets and pans is starting to show even though I clean and polish most days.. I want gas or old time electric.!

Your neighborhood? Great? Good? Ugly? Too close to Donald Trump impersonators?
They moved. They were the most horrid, inconsiderate people I have ever met! They trained their dogs to crap in out yard. They had 4 outside cats who crapped in our yard. She ran around naked (ugly naked) with the shades up so we had peeping toms in our backyard at night! Thank the gods they are gone!

Do you have a fridge/freezer combo? Fridge and full size freezer? Ice chest? We have 2 side by side freezer fridges and a full size freezer. We could probably live for 3 full months with nutritious meals and never leave the house!
