NICHIJOU! in WHAT A TURTLE KEEPS IN IT'S SHELL.

This anime is So bloody great! I’ve watched it AT least three times. If you have NOT seen this anime then you should just leave… now!
This show, the characters are semi-hysterical EVERY human emotion they has the wrapping RIPPPPED off and the pure little demented and wanting creature we are, comes out.

We try SO hard, we all do, you know we are all trying. Right? Because a human who does not try lays down and dies! End of series! Staff meeting in five, people!

These characters hide nothing! ALL emotion is right out there in your face and you gotta love them for that!

IF… if we were put in a world like that we would go mad in a week because to survive we would have to shuck ALL of our semi-civilized masks.
Do you remember your first mask? I do, it’s a LONG daydream trying to remember the bits and pieces of daily life that started covering up the ‘who’ I was born as?
I can visualize in this short story anime masterpiece our government officials having to display at “FULL EMOTIONAL POWER” as they speak “the truth” to us.
Remember THE MASK? Jim Carrey? Great facial expressions! How about Bruce Campbell in The Evil Dead series?
