Blarg. Pre-new rotation anxiety sucks. And is stupid. And is worse because I’ve been away for two weeks. Do not want! Can I please just have some more time away, please?
Start Companion Birds rotation tomorrow. It should be interesting. But these bird people have been real fond of busy work a in the past and, from a brief look at the syllabus, doesn’t look like they’ve changed their tune. At this level, I don’t understand the point of papers, presentations, and the like. We’ve demonstrated we can do that stuff in didactic classes. Wouldn’t our time be better spent learning more hands on skills? I can write a paper on almost any topic if you give me time. That makes me a good bullshitter, not a good veterinarian.
