These movies are always entertaining, yet always leave me wanting. Not necessarily for more, but just better. This one is more tense than the other, cast better actors in roles better suited for them, and each scene led into the next in a way that seemed smoother to me. It flowed better... and it could've been longer and flowed more. In fact, I feel like this entire trilogy would've been better served as an HBO television seres, a la 'Game of Thrones'. It just feels rushed and who knows how paper-thin and stretched out the third one is gonna feel? This one relies too much on being almost entirely from Katnis' POV; in fact, all of the slim non-Katniss scenes are solely there to push us into feeling one way about a certain character just so they can pull the rug out from under our feet at the end (yes, there's a twist ending... no, it doesn't feel satisfactory enough for me to hold off from telling you there's a twist ending). I would've appreciated a little more indepth behind the scenes of everything leading up to the point of the twist instead of just giving us the twist and calling it a day. Because that's what they did. It doesn't end. It just stops.
