What a difference a decent sleep makes!
I made the doc’s appointment but can’t get in until the 8th September. It’s getting ridiculous over here! I took it on myself to double my dose of “Happy Pills”. I know I can do this safely as we halved the dose to what I was on! Trust me, I’m a nurse. I know what I’m doing. LOL
Slept so well last night. Went to bed around 22.30 and slept until 06.45 this morning. No getting up for a ‘comfort break’ during the night (but I sure needed one when I did get up!), no disturbance from the menagerie, so I slept through. Today I feel much, much better.
I’ve felt like doing some work, I can concentrate on things like reading and writing (!), and am not getting snappy at anyone or anything. Result!!!!
We took Furby to the Vets this morning for his last shot. As always Dawn had to leave the room while he had it, because any sign of pain always hurts her too. LOL. In actual fact he was brilliant. Gave a little jump when the needle went in, but no whimpers or cries. Such a brave boy. Next two visits will be for flea treatment and worming and then that will be him covered for the next year.
After the Vets we took him around a local market....well, we tried to. We kept getting stopped by people who wanted to fuss him and talk about their dogs! Of course, he just lapped it up. He’s actually a very sociable dog, dfferent to how Honey was. He travels in the car better than she does too. Amazing how two dogs can be so different.
Although I am more up for work, there is still little actual “work” to do, so I am spending all my time doing more towards the Journalism side. I am determined to make a go of this and am pulling out all the stops to make a living out of it. I am actually feeling more and more confident than I can do.
Ok. time to read more mags for more ideas!
