Did you ever walk up to the edge of a cliff? in Another Irrelevant Manifesto

I went hiking yesterday. Did about four miles all together, including some pretty steep inclines. I am regretting this today.

I'm not big on hiking. I hate nature. I don't like sweating, I have weak ankles.

But it was nice to get out of the house, and it's been so cool lately that the bugs weren't an issue, and the weather really was perfect. Plus I have hiking boots now. My mom bought them for me in June, as a birthday present.

My birthday is in January.

But that's irrelevant. It's the thought that counts, not the fact that it took her six months to have the thought.

Anyway, it was nice to get out of the house and do something. I need to spend more time running around on sandstone cliffs.
