Sunday is coming to a close and it’s been interesting in a homely sort of way.
Rudely awakened at 0630 by the dogs needing to go outside! They can usually hold it till just after 7 which is a reasonable time, but that extra half-hour is sorely missed. Of course, since then they have managed to have a couple of snoozes! Bloody animals. But they are presently entertaining us fighting over the same toy, or even the same end of a toy. Just like kids, whatever one has the other wants. It’s really funny to watch.
Watched the MotoGp from Brno, so happy to get my bike fix for today. I didn’t go out on my bike as I hadn’t really got anywhere to go. Watched a little bit of football, some of the VJ celebrations, and the news.
They had a report from New York, about the high-rise apartments costing $100 million, and not being lived in, just bought for investment. The report showed you round one, no idea what floor it was on, but it had a fantastic view of Central Park, and the cockpits of aircraft I would think as well. It was so high! I know Dawn would never live somewhere like that. She hates heights LOL
Managed to get some more course work done today. Completed all the self-exercises and also the last assignment. I won’t send it in until I get feedback from the last one. It usually comes back in a couple of days, but it’s been nearly a week this time. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing! Or maybe my tutor is just away on holiday. Anyway, I found this assignment much easier so not worried. If I’ve not heard anything by mid-week I shall send it in anyway, as I will be getting a new one the following Monday (24th).
Right now, doing one of my favourite pastimes, listening to the radio via the TV. Our satellite system can pick up digital radio stations and the one we like listening to is called Smooth. It’s a British station but tonight it’s the “Great American Songbook”. It covers a lot of eras of music, but obviously a lot of gentle ballad type songs. A lot of them come from ’60’s/70’s. It always amazes me how many of them I remember , including most of the lyrics! What a fantastic Hard drive the brain is. Several Terabytes I guess!
Well, being as it’s Sunday, it must mean it’s shower night, whether I need it or not! LOL
Stay Safe, peeps.
