Kelp in Talk Story

Aloha…

Todays walk to the beach brought about a different view… kelp… and lots of it…
Must be a storm some where out to sea… because the water here is still very calm…

As I sat looking out at the ocean… I saw quite a few birds working what appeared to be a bait ball out past bird island… several hundred of them…

Closer to the shore… I saw birds hovering over the water… then diving down to spear/grab a fish…

I wonder how often they are successful…?

Another very nice day here on the southern coast of Oregon…
