Signed the contract with the photographer this morning and paid half of her fee. Picked out our wedding bands and my new engagement ring (since I broke mine beyond repair woohoo) mid morning and this afternoon finalized our deposit on the venue (which is half the fee). All in all we spent close to $3,000 today… Why are weddings so expensive? Its like $7k base price and thats not including the dress or other apparel, food, drinks, decorations, music or literally anything. And some things we forgot to put in our budget like alterations on my dress. The entire corset has to be re-boned because my DD breasts are too small apparently. This is the first time in my life my boobs haven’t been big enough.The venue is really pretty though:
I sincerely hate money right now.
One the happier side of things our 4 year anniversary is Thursday. We’re going away for a long weekend to de-stress and eat the best cheeseburgers known to man. I’m also going to get a new labret stud for my conch piercing and thats always a ton of fun :-D
