Although I am obviously concerned about what may happen, I think it depends largely on what happens to the cop…
If the video is as bad as they say, and they let the cop go, it could get bad–2001 all over again. If the grand jury indicts him, people will feel that for once justice has been pursued and theoretically maybe only more peaceful protests will occur.
But it feels weird and a little scary to be in Cincinnati right now… Especially when Cori interns a block away from where Dubose was shot and we live about a mile from UC.
