My life is changing... in A blizzard of restless imagination

After long 2 days of war with V I finally decided to distract myself by delving deeper into myself. I had since the last 2-3 months been exploring the talents that I possessed, not knowing what would click or what would fail… gardening being one of them… and now I’m a proud owner of 60 flowering plants on my terrace all in full bloom with the love and care that they are nurtured with.

Of all the hard work, early rising, watering and nurturing the most rewarding has been the smile that the blooms have brought to my old man’s lips. His eyes shine with every sign of a new bud, awaiting eagerly for it to bloom and then begging me to click pictures of them. My 82 year old has grown into an innocent child.

But in fulfilling his wishes, I have suddenly started to take interest in photography too. I by no means intend to claim that I understand any head or tale of the subject… (what the shutter speed means, what an ISO stands for, how the exposure should be set)… neither do I have any standard camera of my own.... but experimenting with the mobile phone camera has started to be bear very interesting results.

Today itself I clicked at least 30 photos of random stuff… a paint brush that has since ages been lying neglected on a dusty cupboard top shelf… my office colleague’s hand busy on the laptop keyboard.... spectacles… cups and mugs… a pen and a diary etc… Surprisingly a few of them came out quite satisfactory!

I mean at least to ‘me’.

Feeling good. :-)
