She lives with two men
In a house on a hill.
One's in a wheelchair.
The other stands still.
They go down to the river
And they pray to their god
They say doesn't exist,
But he's all that they've got.

And they're more than just friends
With the god in their dreams
Who stands at the top of the stairs
And watches them breathe.
Time shudders, and shivers,
And the days take their toll
On three friends in the midst
Of a god with no soul.

So if it's all the same to you,
And it's all the same to me,
We will change our point of view;
Let these sorry children be.

This is their life to keep or deny.
Good or bad, it's not ours to decide.
