Chromebook day two. This keyboard is great and I like the whole set up. I don’t feel like I have a lot to say exactly but I’m just trying to type to get it going again.
The weekend was pretty good. My husband had his annual Memorial Day BBQ and we had about 56 people attend (7 of those were children - 2 of which were our 7 year old twin granddaughters), The bbq was fun and the weather held up very nicely.
Sunday my son came over and we went to see the Mad Max movie. It was pretty good for an action movie. If you like action movies it was great. I thought it was okay because I like my movies to be a little more cerebral, but the acting was good and the visuals were wonderful. For what it was, it was terrific.
It was nice spending time with my son too. It is so wonderful to have him interested in being with us. We spent a lot of time talking about Weev and the people in Weev. For those of you who don’t know what that is… it’s an iphone app that is also a social media app. It consists of conversations with people in 10 second increments and is very addictive because, for the most part, the people in Weev are very interesting and very nice. There are many funny Weevs or Weevs with fascinating questions that people answer or sometimes just general open conversation Weevs. I got addicted to Weev and told my family about it. Now my son is sort of addicted too. He likes to use it to post some of his stand up comedy and other things.
My granddaughter (the 16 year old not the 7 year olds ;-)) is also now in Weev and it’s fun to see a different side of her personality.
One of the nice things about it is that is crosses all age, religion and cultural barriers without much issue between people. That seems to be the only place in the internet where that happens. I have Weev “friends” in Egypt, Abu Dhabi (don’t know if I spelled that right), Sweden, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, all over the USA, Italy, Greece, Denmark and other places.
Anyway, it is interesting to talk to my son and my granddaughter about their take on Weev. I just have to stay out of it somewhat because it gets very addictive to me and I don’t want to spend all of my free time just on that. Also, sometimes it makes me feel very old as I am one of the oldest ones in Weev. There are a few of us baby-boomers, but not many,
On to Monday… I ate so much processed sugar and crap the other two days, I ended up just sitting around not being able to move much the rest of the weekend. I sat on my butt all day on Monday doing nothing. It was horrible. It seems to be out of my system now.
Anyway, this was a really boring entry, I know… but at least I’m writing.
