So, I am done with my 12 weeks of personal training and here’s what I look like now…



I still have a lot of work to do but I’m pretty happy with the results considering that I really struggled with sticking to the diet!
I’m going to carry on with weights 3 times a week and I want to start doing the couch to 5k plan so that I can do the colour run in July. I’m trying to convince Paul to join Ross’ gym and start coming with me but he is not keen on the idea and he’s really stubborn so I need to work on convincing him! I think he’s kind of intimidated by how small it is, you can’t really hide in there! But he has been saying recently that he’s unhappy with his weight and doesn’t know what to do about it so I think he should at least try!
I had my first non-PT work out yesterday, I was really nervous about doing it all without Ross’ help but it wasn’t too bad! He’s written me a programme to follow so once I had checked with him what weights I should use I got on ok. There were 2 guys there at the same time and I am kind of nervous about getting in people’s way or using the machine that they want, especially because I’m used to doing ‘super sets’ and hogging 2 types of exercise at the same time. I finished pretty quickly because I’m used to chatting to Ross in between sets, so with no one to talk to I got through everything a bit quicker and I felt like I shouldn’t do anything that wasn’t on my programme so I left after about 40 minutes when my PT sessions had been an hour each. I’m sure my confidence in the gym will grow the more I do it by myself though! And hopefully if I can convince Paul to come along I’ll have someone to chat to between sets!
